Taryn has really thrived with her sewing lessons.She has found a real passion and she feels good and successful when she creates. Her teacher is such a good fit for her and is so encouraging. Her teacher told her she was ready for grown up patterns, not simplified starter patterns. She was so flattered. So together they went and chose out a grown up patter and materials. This is what the final product was. She even made a purse to go with her dress. At school the kids were assigned to write a paper on an item that meant a lot to them and why it held meaning for them and of course she chose her dress because she felt so good about it..I am so thankful for great teachers who are patient and passionate and empowering to my kiddo. And seriously it did turn out great and she really is ready for grown up patterns....
