Valentines Day Tradition

Valentines day was a busy day but full of love. In sticking with tradition we gave each kiddo a pair of  socks so they can remember with every step they take that they are loved. Then we had Dad's and Doughnuts at the girls school. I helped hand out the doughnuts while Brent hung with Cami and Taryn. I also helped with Road Runner Mileage Club at the school during lunch. During  nap time Jocelyn helped me set the table with China-I assure you this was an adventure. After school we had the typical dance classes and homework etc. Then for dinner I made the traditional everyone picks a favorite and we make it dinner. I must say the choices this year were a much more cohesive healthy meal than last year thanks to Brent being nice enough to choose rice to go with Taryn's sweet and sour meatballs. Cami chose green beans. Jocelyn was all about fruit dip and Creed was all about berries. I was all about chocolate fondue. We ate by candle light and it was really fun. Post dinner we had a family rock out. It was so fun to dance around and be crazy with the kids.

This year we actually made homemade valentines again with the top things we love about each child. We have typically always done this but last year it got lost in the new baby/experimenting with fish tacos business...
Creed the heart breaker snitching a heart sugar cookie from Grandma.
The rock out...as a side note it was kind of embarrassing that Taryn's primary teacher stopped by to give her a valentine right in the middle of this...We were all singing dancing and sweaty and really loud music was playing....Good times.
