Somehow the elementary school track meet came and went and I had like one picture of the event...Oh well. That's what I get for bringing Jocelyn and Creed while I chaperoned Taryn's class...not much time for anything besides sun screening a lot of kids and making sure they were drinking enough...
Taryn did the 100 m dash (because it was the shortest and she HATES to be all sweaty), the softball throw, and the long jump. She didn't really place in anything but loved being out of school and buying treats at the snack store.
Cami chose to do the 400 again and spanked it by a LONG ways again. She is definitely an endurance runner in build and in mind. She also did the long jump and like the 200 m. dash. It was a bummer that they did not do a district track meet this year because Cami really looked forward to getting a better finish at the district than she has in the past.
The one in the green shirt and BRIGHT pink shoes is Taryn...She is lining up to run. The funny thing is that even though she doesn't love running it is not like she's slow.....
