Each one of the kids begged to carve pumpkins this year...Well we live in a place that is still hot on Halloween and pumpkins that are carved too early sit on porches and rot. Its super gross....but carving pumpkins is like a rite of childhood...so what do we do? We decorated pumpkins and then we carved only one a few days before Halloween and ate ice cream cones. It was kind of fascinating the faces the kids chose for their own decorated pumpkins. They suited each kid very well. Its always a good time.
