So Cami turned 14 and wants a redo. She was sick and miserable and would have rather been in bed. She missed school the day before but convinced me she was going on her birthday. BUT by the time she got home she had a fever and even the bday pizza and cake didn't tempt her. Seriously she didn't even want to eat cake on her own bday. Unfortunately her flu lasted over 3 weeks and by then the cake was gone....I think next year she will let me get her a flu shot since she refused one this year and everyone else got one and no one else got sick....At least hopefully the lesson is learned....Anyway we tried for birthday bliss but it was just out of our control. She did like the new clothes she got. Next year will totally be better....And incidentally she is turning into such a rock star even while sick. We are so lucky to have her in our family.
