Our family had a first this summer. Jocelyn the mermaid wanted to join a swim team....so we signed her up. If anyone knows Jocelyn they know she is NOT a morning person...swimming starts at 7 am...so far she likes it well enough that she has jumped up and at it every morning very happily. It is great when you find the activity that your kid has a passion for. I can't wait to see her actually participate in a swim meet. This week she has been learning to dive in off the little starting block thing.
