Love is a sweet sweet thing

Last weekend we flew to Chicago for Ryan's wedding (Brent's brother). He hooked up with Sharon and we couldn't be happier to have her in the family. The trip felt very weird since the girls stayed with my mom but it was a nice break for us to have some alone time. (And the girls had a blast with Grandma Rice.) We enjoyed Chicago style pizza and seeing WICKED in the theater. I highly recommend WICKED (the story of the wicked witch of the west). I think I enjoyed it more than Phantom of the Opera even. I really liked that it has a happy ending. The wedding itself was short and sweet and simple-kind of how a wedding should be in my book. We also enjoyed checking out Green Bay (where Ryan actually lives) because it reminded us of Michigan. We really miss the green trees and grass and lakes/rivers. We were reminded that we really don't miss the mosquitoes. All in all we had a great time and we are just really happy that Ryan finally found the right girl...Way to GO!
